A Junior Architectural Technologist supports architects and senior technologists in the design, development, and documentation of architectural projects. This role involves preparing technical drawings, collaborating with consultants and contractors, and ensuring that designs comply with relevant codes and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the preparation of detailed architectural drawings using CAD software - AutoCAD, Revit, ArchiCAD
Develop 3D models, renderings, and presentation documents for client meetings
Participate in site surveys and measure-ups for existing conditions
Support project coordination between engineers, consultants, and contractors
Review plans to ensure compliance with building codes, regulations, and company standards
Maintain and update project documentation, drawings, and technical data
Assist in creating material specifications and schedules
Attend design meetings and take project notes when required
